Background
ECG Healthcare has been a leading name in pharmacist training across the UK for the past two decades.
Renowned as the premier provider in the pharmacy sector, universities, and the NHS, the business is owned and operated by healthcare professionals. Although some of these professionals had limited commercial experience, they have built a robust organization with 30 employees and a network of associate nurses spread throughout the UK.
The Task
With strong connections in the pharmacy industry and the NHS, the business owners aimed to expand their activities in the healthcare sector and drive business growth. United Outcomes was invited to assess the business operations and collaborate on developing a comprehensive learning and development program.
The key focus areas were:
- Values-based Leadership and Supervision
- Strategic and Financial Planning and Governance
- Change Management
- HR and Wellbeing
- Organisational Culture
- Operational Delivery
The goal was to help the executive team identify growth opportunities and evolve the business.
United Outcomes engaged with the leadership team to create a tailored learning program. They regularly ensured quality and alignment through analysis, along with individual surveys.
The delivery included a face-to-face leadership, culture, and wellbeing event, followed by smaller team events and one-on-one coaching and mentoring. The 18-month program covered all targeted areas, with a mix of face-to-face and synchronous online sessions.
